Project
A serious matter and… a festive one
Creating a Wine Space is a serious undertaking. It is about housing a wine collector’s living, constantly renewed, treasure, or that of a restaurant or a wine-grower…
But when you create a Cellar, you’re also envisioning a fabulous place of hospitality and sharing, where you can honor and celebrate the “Wine Experience” with your guests.
All those bottles are a feast for the eyes, but their true purpose is to attract the caresses, compliments and longing of eager explorers before finally surrendering to the happy initiates.
Project management
1. Upon receiving your request, we do our best to understand your needs and provide you with initial answers in as short a timeframe as possible. We analyze every aspect of your project and ask you follow-up questions if necessary to clarify certain points.
2. Then we submit our first proposals to you, developed around your needs and aspirations for your space. We also draw up a budget and, if possible, a 3D graphic rendering to give you an idea of the potential result and how it will look in real life.
3. We talk this through with you and, taking your feedback into account, we tweak the layout proposal until you are happy with it. If you agree with our updated proposal, we can sign off on the project.
4. Your order will be produced, prepared and shipped out to you as quickly as possible.
5. Once the pieces have been delivered or installed and you have them before your eyes and at your fingertips, we remain available for any technical assistance – for as long as you need.
Information required prior to shipping
Architecture Intérieure du Vin provides deliveries throughout France and all around the world. All our elements are delivered unmounted, in kit form, flat-packed, in dedicated packaging.
Before delivery: essential checks
To guarantee a smooth delivery, we kindly ask you to verify the following:
- Access: check door widths, staircases, lifts, hallways, etc. Furniture must be able to reach its final location without obstruction.
- Flooring: it must be level, stable, and capable of supporting the full weight of the furniture once installed and loaded.
- Electrical access: for any units incorporating lighting or refrigeration, sockets must be functional and accessible.
- Environmental conditions: particularly for wine storage areas, ensure proper ventilation and controlled humidity levels.

- Delivery to interior spaces or cellars: available upon request and subject to a separate quotation.
- For oversized pallets (over 240 cm), side-loading is required. These vehicles are less common, may lead to longer lead times, and can incur additional logistics charges.
Estimated lead times (working days):
- Paris / North / East: 48h – South / West: 72h
- Rest of Europe: 72h+
- International: as quoted (by road, sea or air)
Transfer of responsibility: the transfer of risk takes place as soon as the goods are made available at our premises (Incoterm EXW). From that moment on, the buyer is responsible for loading, transport, and bears all risks related to delivery. We commit to preparing the goods within the announced lead times, except in cases of force majeure.
In the event of an anomaly (damaged package, missing item, etc.), please note it on the delivery slip, take photos, and contact us as soon as possible.

Installation (optional service)
Installation is available upon request and subject to a tailored quotation. It includes:
- Delivery (if not already completed)
- Transport to final position
- Assembly, wall fixing, any necessary adjustments
- Removal of packaging and site left tidy

Material quality & care
Our solid woods are crafted from wide, long planks, carefully selected for their aesthetic quality and durability.
To maintain their quality:
- Clean using a soft dry or lightly damp cloth (no abrasive products)
- Avoid knocks and scratches, particularly during assembly
Our metal frames are made of powder-coated steel, resistant to 100% ambient humidity.
Reservations and Transport Claims
In the event of any anomaly detected upon receipt (damaged parcel, missing component, opened pallet, etc.), it is essential to:
- Record precise reservations on the delivery note at the time of delivery (generic phrases such as “subject to unpacking” are not valid).
- Confirm these reservations by registered letter within 72 hours for deliveries within France, or within 7 days for deliveries elsewhere in Europe.
- Include photographs documenting the damage.
These steps are required in order to initiate a transport claim when the carrier’s liability is involved.
If no formal reservation or written claim is made within the legal timeframe, the goods are deemed accepted, and the seller (Architecture Intérieure du Vin) cannot be held responsible nor issue any compensation.
Warranties & responsibilities
- Legal warranty: 2 years
- Lifetime service warranty: advice, spare parts, adjustments (excluding wear and tear)
- Any modification by an unauthorised third party voids the warranty
- The client is responsible for ensuring the installation site is technically suitable
